Kristin Philhower

Kristin Philhower is in her 7th year as an educator. She was born in Germany, moved to Florida, moved back to Germany, and moved to Oklahoma in 2000. Kristin's parents were both in the United States Air Force. She graduated with her B.S. and M.Ed. from the University of Central Oklahoma where she was a collegiate rower and graduate assistant coach for the rowing team.

Kristin moved to Austin, Texas in 2015 where she worked with many students from diverse backgrounds and became a certified ESL teacher.

Kristin has lived in Bentonville since 2018 and served as a science teacher at Washington Junior High School while earning her Ed.S. from Arkansas State University. Kristin currently serves as the Assistant Principal at Lincoln Junior High School and is completing her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Arkansas Tech University.

Kristin is passionate about bringing equitable learning experiences and making school safe for all students.
